House delivery
The day has come, the house is delivered! Our carpenters start the day by coming out to the site and introducing themselves to you and telling you about the day's agenda. The carpenters check the house foundation one last time and the accessibility for transportation and delivery. The crane company establishes itself before the lift, in the case of reloading, this takes place in a pre-selected and suitable place close to the property. Transport arrives at the site and sets up at the designated location where a visual inspection of the house is made. The carpenters also check that the lifting equipment is correctly mounted before the house is lifted into place on the foundation. An internal and external inspection is then carried out. A time is set for the final inspection and then the carpenters start their work to complete the house. When the carpenters have finished, the final inspection is carried out together with you and the final inspection is signed and any points that need to be addressed are noted. At the earliest the next day or usually within a week of the house delivery, the electricians and plumbers carry out their connections. All self-inspections are collected by your project manager and handed over to your case officer for the application for a final certificate.
Important details to consider
- On delivery day, there is a lot going on and many steps to be synchronized. Our carpenters are focused on lifting the house into place and completing the house as quickly as possible. Therefore, they rarely have time for dialogues more than a briefing in the morning and if it is decided that a final check should take place in the afternoon, it is done together with the supervising carpenter. If there are any questions and concerns that arise during the day, it is your project manager that you should contact.
