Year 2019
In 2019, major development of a completely new digital platform and website began. Turnover increased by 30% from the previous year and the workforce was strengthened both in Sweden and in the company's own factory in Lithuania.
In 2019, Husverket has consistently improved its digital platform and website to create a smoother process from expression of interest to production order. The goal is to offer customers a user-friendly platform that provides a clear overview and information about their house before ordering, which will further increase customer satisfaction in 2020.
Despite the generally negative trend in the housing sector, the sales turnover of Husverket has increased by 30% in 2019 compared to the previous year. This increase is mainly the result of an increase in sales of holiday homes and less permanent residential buildings, which has also led to an increase in building permit applications.
During the year, Husverket strengthened its workforce with several sales project managers and an accountant/controller. The two manufacturing units used in Lithuania now employ 100 people, and the flows have been streamlined with the help of Swedish inspectors, control managers and logisticians, which ensures safer manufacturing processes and efficient logistics for delivery to the customer.
To emphasize the intention to also deliver houses larger than "attefallare", the company started a process to change its name in 2019.
Management's future plans
Husverket's vision is to be the obvious choice that takes the housing industry to the next level. By using the latest technology, the company wants to simplify the building process and create security for the customer. Digital services that enable customers to build their houses online and visualize them with VR technology are in focus.
Husverket aims to offer a large range of turnkey house modules at competitive prices through increased specialist competence and ownership of both factory and production. The company will take responsibility for the entire construction and delivery process, targeting different customer segments, from private individuals to companies, landowners and developers. The launch of development objects on the website and the digital platform is planned for Q2 2020, with a plot area in Vemdalen as one of the first objects.
